What Is an Optimist?
Optimists
are seldom surprised by trouble.
Optimists look for partial solutions even if an entire solution can’t
be found.
Optimists believe they have control over their future.
Optimists allow for regular renewal.
Optimists interrupt their negative trains of thought.
Optimists heighten their powers of appreciation.
Optimists use imagination to rehearse success.
Optimists are cheerful even when they can’t be happy.
Optimists think they have an almost unlimited capacity for stretching.
Optimists build lots of love into their lives.
Optimists accept what cannot be changed.
Optimists and Pessimists
A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities and an optimist is one who makes opportunities of his difficulties. ~Harry Truman
